Bill Vaccaro
Bill Vaccaro grew up in Buffalo, New York, and has degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo. After shooting for years with tack sharp pieces of glass, he discovered crappy plastic cameras and has been shooting with them ever since. He has expanded his repertoire to include photographs shot with homemade lenses attached to obscure medium format cameras from the former Soviet Bloc and mainland China. His work has appeared online on File Magazine, mooncruise.com and Flak Magazine, and in print in 28mm.org: Offline, edited by Rachel James. He is a regular contributor to the Rearview photography section of the Chicago webzine, Gapers Block . He lives and works in Chicago, Illinois.
