Sie Est Eine Welt

Women are worlds
among converging waterways
and loosened strata
of the connecting tissues
and transverses of solid
massed spheres. They
are perimeters to circles
yet creaking from triangular
outcroppings. They see
the wave trapped in brine.
On the brink of floods
women settle, record, detail
the restive mandate
to the calipers that air
becomes. She was
a world that dreamed
Jesus: could not
see one but saw the other.
